Since the group’s inception, the Cowboy Artists of America have enjoyed an annual trail ride. They felt it was important to experience together aspects of cowboy and western life to enhance the authenticity of their artistic portrayals. Ranches throughout the United States extend invitations to the organization, inviting them to come stay as guests where they camp, ride, work and play.
Days are spent riding the range, working on the ranch, painting and sculpting, and holding meetings to organize and manage group business. Evenings are savored under the stars around the campfire talking, laughing and enjoying entertainment provided by talented group members adept on vocals and guitar.
Members feel this annual event is vital to the group’s success as it builds comradery and creates a brotherhood dedicated to each other and the common goals of the group.
