Phil Epp on the Cover

April 4, 2019 by Cowboy Artists of America

CONGRATULATIONS to PHIL EPP featured on the cover of TSCRA April 2019 issue of The Cattleman.

“The Old Stock Pens” was inspired by the Ryan stock pens outside of Marfa, Texas. Epp says, “These pens have minimal use, but they are gracefully aging amongst the tumbleweeds in the wide-open West Texas landscape. I have always loved stock pens and sale barns. The interest goes back to my youth and wonderful experiences at the local cattle auction. It always included a hot beef sandwich and a Coca-Cola.”

Special thanks to TSCRA for your support of the CA!
